We begin with what your child can already do, so they feel capable from the start.
I use games, manipulatives and visual models (Numicon, Base 10, counters, Cuisenaire rods) to bring ideas to life.
We connect skills to everyday life — money, time, measuring, cooking, planning — so maths feels meaningful.

Learning is also full of maths games that make practising skills exciting and enjoyable. Games help to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and turn challenges into opportunities for fun learning moments.

I thoughtfully build lessons around each child’s individual interests, making learning engaging, meaningful, and personally relevant to them. When children see their hobbies and passions reflected in their sessions, motivation and confidence naturally grow.

I also love weaving in seasonal themes and celebrations — such as Halloween, Bonfire Night, and other special occasions throughout the year — to keep learning fresh, creative, and exciting. These themed sessions add an extra spark of fun while still reinforcing key skills, helping children stay curious, inspired, and eager to learn.
The first 2–3 sessions help me understand your child’s current strengths and needs, build rapport, and choose the best next steps.
